A Commercial Roof Drain Is Part of the Roof
A clear drain opening matters, but so does the connection between the drain and the roof. Water must reach the outlet and remain above the roof assembly on the way there.

A blockage and a failed connection need different work
Debris can obstruct the outlet. A damaged connection between the drain and membrane can admit water even when the opening is clear. An inadequate drainage arrangement raises another question about how water reaches the outlet.
A repair needs to identify which condition is present. A patch away from the connection or a new surface coating does not correct every drainage problem.
Look beneath the surface decision
The roof system, adjacent covering and condition of underlying insulation affect the repair. Wet layers need their own scope, and a replacement plan needs drainage and attachment details rather than just a membrane quantity.
Parkville Roofing Co can help begin with the building and current roof. Our flat roof repair page explains the scope.
Keep the working building in the conversation
Tenant access, equipment service and loading routes influence staging. Tell us the use of the building and whether water is entering occupied space.
