Product coverage
Manufacturer coverage addresses specified product defects under the selected warranty. System components, registration and eligibility can matter.

Make sense of product and installation coverage by looking at the covered problem and remedy.
Free roof inspections. Clear repair and replacement options.
A warranty is useful when its issuer, covered problem and remedy are clear. A material-defect term and installation coverage do different jobs. Neither should be reduced to a large year number without its conditions.

The actual documents determine eligibility, exclusions and remedy.

Workmanship coverage concerns covered installation work from its named issuer. It is separate from the material itself.
Transfer rules, maintenance, exclusions, notice requirements and the available remedy influence what coverage does when a problem appears.
A warranty term does not correct an incompatible installation. Covering, fastening, underlayment and flashing need the selected system’s details from the beginning. An unresolved wall connection can leak beside new shingles without being a defect in the shingles.
When a problem appears, the cause matters to the applicable coverage. Repairing physical damage and handling a covered product or installation problem are related but different processes.
